I think that Yosemite (Yo-sim-et-ay) is the best Mac update. Its not a new operating system its still os x. It takes a long time to download. I like it when you get a new update and you can see that they made a massive change like how they gave it a more iOS 7/8 look and cleaned up the icons. It works much quicker than the previous one (insert random nature name like unbranded cow or cliffs in the USA), but over all I think its quite good and you can get it off the app store
